I love the idea of negativity as tapeworm. It's easier to think of it as an entity that I want to do nothing with, from this angle.

As a poet, the first thing that shocked me when I started to share my poetry is how often people interpret it in different ways than I did, some even see things in them I never intended and still can't see in them... it's so interesting.

And OMG! I'm jealous of your childhood bedrooms. I always had everything the way my mom wanted it, and always found my rooms ugly until I was 16 and finally had a say in my own room. Maybe that explains why I always ran away into the forest, instead of being at home.

Loved your field notes of your week. I can't wait to see how the next one turns out.

Loved this -- I had the same realisation in power week, that it's less about confidence and more ability trusting yourself to be able to follow through on something. (Maybe the more we take action, confidence will come on it's own?) Love that you do your morning pages by the lake too. So so jealous ahahah it's sounds peaceful!
